What is this Website About?

Change can be very daunting and changing schools is one of the biggest changes most students will face. This website aims to provide you with knowledge, skills and strategies that will allow you to effectively transition from primary school to high school while also enhancing your wellbeing.
In order to help you manage your personal wellbeing during this daunting process, the website has been underpinned by the organising elements for personal and social capability from the Australian curriculum.
In order to be successful at high school and have a strong sense of wellbeing you need to develop competence in each of these elements.
Working through this website will allow you to develop competence in each of these areas and will also provide you with skills to enhance your personal wellbeing.

What is Wellbeing?
Wellbeing is more than just being physically healthy and also involves social, emotional and behavioural factors that allow us to feel happy and good about ourselves (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare [AIHW], 2011).
